I only managed 2 runs last week, totalling 20.13 miles. I had some pain after last Sunday’s half marathon so decided to take it easier this week, I didnt want to risk picking up an injury so early on in training.
The gyms open up again on Wednesday so I plan to get on the treadmill on weeknights, which will help me build my fitness without the pain the day after. I’ll get out on the road on the weekends, when I can run in the light.
I’ll do that for the whole of December, come January I should be fit enough to cope with the roads most days.
