I’ve managed 4 runs in my first week back out on the road, totalling 37.36 miles. A nice steady increase in distance from the first run to the fourth, finishing with a half marathon.

Pain / injury depending, I hope to increase by a similar amount each time until I get close to marathon distance. That’s when I plan on seeing how the body reacts to runs on consecutive days.

I’ve not done that before so am a little apprehensive, so will drop the distance back down a bit initially just to give the body a chance to cope with the shock.
